This screenshot is from a screensaver I wrote that renders animated knots
in multiple styles, from alpha blended, to wireframe, to dynamically
colored and lit. It consists of about 13000 lines of code, and can
generate millions of knots, including many from tables and many parametric
ones.
I was inspired by a research program for knot study called knotplot.
